Bug Fixes and Platform Improvements
After a week of new signups and testing,I've implemented a number of bug fixes across several areas of the platform. I added fixes for the directory, profiles, and workshops.
These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to create a stable, user-friendly platform as we approach our March 1st launch date. Thank you for your continued feedback and support as we refine Earth.dev together!

Welcome explorers!
Sasha sent out some invitations to you intrepid explorers excited to join us building this website. Your feedback is so helpful and we're excited to see what we can build together.
One of the first feedback we got was that the term "Builder" was not inclusive of all the people this tool is for. So we changed "Builder" to "Expert". This isn't very inclusive of hobbyists, enthusiasts and learners so we'll be considering other ways to make these distinctions more clear in the future.
Workshops were also added to the site, and after verifying your account you can now create your own workshops to share with the community. We will be adding many additional features to the workshops in the coming weeks.
Nate created a list of the features we plan to add in the future with rough timelines for their completion which you can find here.
We're planning loosely on a March 1st launch date to make this new beta site live on https://Earth.dev
We would like to create some educational and editorial features about you and your work to include on the site for the launch. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to [email protected].
We're excited to see what we can build together.
Thank you!

Builder Profiles Now Live!
We're excited to announce that Builder Profiles have officially launched! After creating an account and completing verification through email and phone, you can now showcase your natural building journey through your personal Builder Profile.
The initial release features a streamlined profile system where you can highlight your location, preferred construction methods, and add a profile picture. This lays the foundation for connecting natural builders across our community.
Development has been moving quickly, and we expect to migrate these new features to the public site within the next few days. This is just the beginning – we have many more features and improvements planned for the coming weeks.
We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the Builder Profiles. Additionally, we're actively seeking co-founders and collaborators to help grow this platform. If you're interested in joining us, please reach out to [email protected].
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand and enhance the platform!

Introduction
The fires in La in early 2025 radicalized my interest and belief in alternative ways of building our environments that are more sustainable and resilient, and less toxic to our health and the environment. I think it radicalized a lot of people.
There is an amazing movement happening in the world of building with the earth. It's a movement that is growing and gaining momentum. It's a movement that is changing the way we build our environments.
You are here because you saw someone or something that made you believe you could change the way we have always done things to live a better life.
Earth.dev is a resource for the community to connect around early building projects, workshops, and community events. It's a place to find builders, projects, and resources to help you get started.
I am a builder, a designer, and a developer. I am also a father, a husband, and a friend. I am a builder because I believe in the power of the earth to heal and transform our lives.
I'll be working on this website as I am able over the coming weeks to get it up and running and see what we can build together.
I invite you to sign up and join the mailing list to find out when we launch additional features in the future.
